Part of the prestigious Dive Encounter Alliance, the Atlantis Azores liveaboard delivers the same exceptional service and world class cuisine you know and love from the Atlantis Resorts in Dumaguete and Puerto Galera. Modern safety features and lots of extras help to make your dive holiday all you expect in the trip of a lifetime. This luxurious monohull aluminum vessel is 107 feet long and accommodates 16 guests with the ultimate in comfort and space.

Onboard, enjoy traditional Filipino hospitality and local and international cuisine. Start the day with a light continental breakfast of freshly baked bread, cereals, yogurts and fruit. After the first dive you sit down to a full breakfast – meats, cheeses, sweet selections and of course, eggs any way you choose. Proud to serve only fresh, “a la minute” meals and snacks all day long, lunches and dinners have been selected from their most popular resort blackboard menu items and are served family style. Imagine how lovely it would be to emerge from an incredible dive and arrive back to the liveaboard to fresh, hot pastas, seafood, homemade soups and crisp healthy salads ready to be enjoyed! The chef is always pleased to look after any specific dietary requirements, just remember to provide some advanced notice.

 Staterooms and Suite

Atlantis Azores Liveaboard PhilippinesThe Azores has seven deluxe staterooms - with double and single berths, lavatory, hairdryer, private bathroom and shower, all situated below deck. In addition, a suite is located on the upper deck and has a double and single berth, along with a desk, window and extensive storage space. Rooms are all serviced daily.

Amenities

The Azores sun decks feature partial shade, chaise lounges, complete wet bar, luxurious hot tub and an assortment of sitting areas with tables. The large dive platform offers warm freshwater showers to rinse off after swimming or diving. When not diving, enjoy a wide selection of movies on the flat screen TV or sit back with a book or magazine from the library. An assortment of board games and cards are also available. Each evening you will be treated to either one of Atlantis' unique marine life presentations, a picture slide show or a presentation on your next destination. An onboard dive and gift shop sells all kinds of dive necessities and souvenirs as well.

The Diving

Briefing onboard Atlantis Azores LiveaboardWhile cruising through the Philippines’ over 7000 islands, you’ll stop at specific areas to experience world class dive sites. Most dives are done from the two zodiac tender boats with only a short ride to the dive sites. Nitrox is available on all charters. Technical diving and rebreather diving is possible, if pre-arranged.

Southern Leyte Itinerary – Only a short amount of time left to experience this amazing itinerary! As of January 2014, the Atlantis Azores will no longer sail the Southern Leyte Route. Book now while you can still experience the 2.5km fabulous coral garden on the west side of Tancaan Point. It has five incredible dives by itself! The beautiful, pristine coral gardens only get better as you go deeper. There are gorgeous drop-offs, walls and lots of aquatic life. Whale Sharks are expected at the time the itinerary is sailed. The first season brought almost daily interaction with these amazing creatures.

Tubbataha Itinerary – Tubbataha is the most popular itinerary, running from mid March through to early June and is only visited for a short time due to its location and its status as a marine preserve. Tubbataha is located in the Sulu Sea, at the center of the Coral Triangle between Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. Tubbataha is made up of two reefs, simply referred to as the North and South Reefs. The North and South Reef both enclose a sandy lagoon. On the southern tip is an islet with a lighthouse. This is used as a rookery for birds and is frequented by turtles. Tubbataha Reefs Natural Parks is home to no less than 573 species of fish, 373 species of corals, 11 species of sharks, 12 species of dolphins and whales, nestling hawksbill and green sea turtles.

Bohol – Visayas Itinerary – The Visayas are one of three island groups in the Philippines; enjoy six fabulous days diving from the Atlantis Azores around one of the most beautiful and bio-diverse regions in Asia. Easy cruises each evening will take you from one great dive site to another.

Malapascua Cebu Itinerary – Some highlights include Sumilon Island, Pescador Island & Malapascua’s Gato Island, home of a sea crate protected breeding sanctuary. Then on to another Malapascua favorite, Monad Shoal is known for frequent sightings of thresher sharks as well as manta rays.
