Cabins

The interior of the Palau Siren is richly furnished, and the dark wood evokes a magnificence of yesteryear. Sixteen guests are accommodated in eight spacious rooms. Six rooms are fixed twin or double cabins while two rooms convert to meet the needs of each party. Your cabin will feature hot water as well as independently controlled air conditioning. Plenty of space is available for storage and in-cabin towels, and a robe is provided for convenience. An overbed reading light, hairdryer, and safety deposit box complete your cabin facilities.

Dining

The outdoor dining area is covered but airy and features boundless ever-changing views as you cruise through the sea onboard your Palau liveaboard. You will be treated to sumptuous tasty buffets. Soft drinks, juice, tea, herbal infusions, coffee, cookies, and fruit, are available all day, and you are invited to come and nibble whenever you choose. Local beer is included in the boat tariff with international beer, wine and spirits charged extra.

Amenities

For relaxing a spacious air-conditioned lounge features comfortable seating and a 42inch flat screen as well as a cocktail bar. While you have access to a movie network, you might also want to show off your diving images here while sipping a cold drink in cool comfort. Books and games are available in the lounge if you feel like drifting off into a novel or challenging your shipmates.

The sun deck is large and airy with comfortable loungers available for you to snooze away your surface interval while you bask in the tropical sunshine.

Kayaks are available for your use and are complimentary. In-room massage, laundry, and a small boutique are all featured but non-complimentary services aboard the S/Y Palau Siren.

Should you need to keep in touch with the outside work, satellite internet is available onboard for an extra fee.

The Siren Fleet take safety very seriously aboard. Each guest will be given a life jacket and practice an emergency drill as part of their introduction to the Palau Siren. Other safety features include smoke detectors, emergency long distance radio, and satellite phones.

Diving

The S/Y Palau Siren plies the pristine waters of Palau to dive sites at Malakal Harbour, Blue Corner, German Channel, New Drop Off and Ulong Channel. Expect riotous drift dives with swirling fish, bump head parrot fish, reef and white tip sharks, manta rays, and of course, Jellyfish Lake. Both seven and ten-day Palau liveaboard trips are available.

The diving deck is shaded for your comfort and provides space for storage and an individual dive station. Each diver is equipped with a deck towel too. Full equipment rental (tanks, weights, belt, BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask and fins) including safety sausage are included within the cost of the liveaboard. Computers and dive torches are charged extra. Enriched Air Nitrox is free to those certified, for those not certified all instructors aboard can certify you for an additional charge.

For photographers and videographers, workstations have been provided both indoor and outdoor giving you ample space to work with your equipment. Enjoy additional storage as well as dedicated rinse tanks and a generous number of charging points.

The S/Y Palau Siren comes complete with two high powered dive tenders for your comfort and convenience while diving. Divers are split by experience and dive in groups no larger than six guests to one instructor.
