Dining

The menu onboard the Indo Aggressor is varied and plentiful, including both international feasts and local Indonesian dishes. Breakfasts consist of hot entrees, cereals, fruits and juices, while lunches are served buffet-style and include soups, hearty salads & fresh bread.

Table-side dinners feature locally-sourced meats and seafood, together with vegetable dishes, salads and a homemade dessert. Special dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notification.

Fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, tea and coffee are available complimentary, together with a selection of local beer and wine. Due to the high duty charged on liquor, guests are invited to bring their own while being reminded that drinking and diving do not mix.

Amenities

The Indo Aggressor is a 98-foot, twin-masted wooden sailing yacht that has been designed for comfort, safety and stability. There is a spacious salon and dining area for guests to relax in at the end of the day, as well as a sun deck with loungers and deck chairs.

The salon is equipped with a TV, media player and stereo and guests are invited to peruse the selection of DVDs available or bring their own onboard. A small library of books is available for exchange, including fish identification books for your reference, as well as a number of board games.

Diving

Indonesia offers outstanding diving throughout the year, with visibility ranging from around 35 to 100 feet (10 to 30 meters). Water temperatures vary between a low of 72°F (22°C) in the south of the archipelago to a high of 84°F (29°C) in the northern regions, with most divers wearing a 3-5mm wetsuit and optional hood.

Three to four dives are conducted each day (including night dives) and two dive tenders are used to access sites, with guests donning their gear on arrival. Freshwater showers are available on the back deck for when you return, together with warm towels.

The Indo Aggressor provides 80 cubic ft. tanks with DIN/yoke adaptable valves for all divers, together with weight belts and weights. A full line of rental gear is available for the duration of your Indonesian liveaboard and Nitrox can be used for a surcharge. All divers must carry a Surface Marker Buoy and dive computers are mandatory.

Detailed briefings are given at the start of each dive, with buddies responsible for looking after one another in the water. One of the Indo Aggressor’s highly experienced divemasters or instructors may lead dives at some sites to assist in locating points of interest.

A number of diving specialty courses are offered onboard, including Nitrox, Advanced Open Water and Under Water Photography and there’s a photo pro available for free coaching, together with rental underwater cameras and video equipment. The Indo Aggressor is also equipped with a 110-volt strobe charging station and a spacious camera table.
