Diving

The seven-day itinerary allows for 5 and a half days diving. On full days you should expect to be able to make 4 dives in a day. A night dive is available on three of your nights aboard.

Each vessel has its own 35ft long high-speed outboard skiff which can carry 18 divers. All diving is made from this boat which returns to the main vessel after each dive. The skiff allows speedy access to dive sites and has been designed to make entry and exits as easy as possible. The dive deck on the mother ship offers plenty of space for kitting up and storage of your gear too.

Swift currents feature on many of the dive sites visited so you be sure that you are both experienced and comfortable in these conditions. A full dive briefing is provided before each dive so that you can plan and conduct your dive with your buddy. If you don’t have a buddy, you can dive with a crew member. As a guest, you shouldn’t expect that your diving is guided. However, there will be a crew member in the water and on certain dives they may guide you to certain points of interest. If you are not comfortable with conducting your own dive, it is suggested that you take one of the offered speciality courses to increase your comfort level.

Make sure you bring adequate signalling devices and do note that dive computers are mandatory. Each vessel carries a range of spare equipment should yours fail but if you need to hire gear, make sure you arrange this at the time of booking. Tanks, fills, weights and weight belts are included in your tariff but gear hire is not. All dive cylinders have international fittings but there are DIN adapters onboard. Nitrox is available onboard, be sure to request this with your scuba diving travel agent at the time of booking.
