Dinners are served table-side each evening, with seafood, beef or chicken dishes accompanied by vegetables, salads and a homemade dessert. Mid-afternoon snacks are also served each day and special dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notification.

Fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, tea and coffee are all served complimentary, together with a selection of local beers and wine. Due to the high duty charged on liquor, guests are invited to bring their own onboard but reminded that drinking and diving don’t mix.

Amenities

The Raja Ampat Aggressor is a 100-foot steel ship that has been built to sleep 16 guests in comfort, safety and stability. It features a main salon with a TV, DVD player and stereo, as well as a spacious dining area where meals are served.

Relax on the shaded sun deck in one of the lounge chairs or peruse the fish identification books in the small onboard library. There’s a good selection of films and board games available in the salon and guests are invited to bring their own.

Diving

Each of the Raja Ampat Aggressor’s four different itineraries accesses remote dive sites and healthy coral gardens, walls, seamounts and caves. Water temperatures vary between 82-86°F (28-30°C) throughout the year and most divers prefer a 3mm wetsuit with an optional hood.

All diving is conducted from tenders, with up to four dives offered per day (including night dives) and you have the option to either dive with a buddy of your choice or one of the crew. Detailed briefings are given at the start of each dive and the Raja Ampat Aggressor’s experienced divemasters and instructors will lead groups at some dive sites to locate specific points of interest.

80 cubic ft. tanks with DIN/yoke adaptable valves are provided, together with weight belts and weights, while a full line of Aqualung equipment can be rented for the duration of your trip. A number of specialty courses are offered on board, including Nitrox, Advanced Open Water and Underwater Photography, with Nitrox available for certified divers at an additional charge.

Freshwater showers are available on the back deck after your dives, as well as warm towels offered by the crew. There’s a dedicated photography room with a spacious camera table and a 110-volt strobe charging station. If you’re interested in learning more about underwater photography, the onboard photo pro is available for free coaching.
