Amenities

The Red Sea Aggressor III features a salon and separate dining area, with a small library of books for exchange, as well as fish identification books for your reference. There’s a selection of around 400 movies on board that can be viewed in the salon or in the privacy of your cabin, with guests also invited to bring their own.

The Flying Bridge Sun Deck is equipped with sun loungers where you can relax with a book in between dives, with another small deck area for guests in front of the Wheelhouse and a jacuzzi.

Diving

Renowned for its excellent visibility and stunning soft corals, the Red Sea is one of the world’s most popular scuba diving destinations. It boasts more than 1,000 species of fish (20% of which are endemic) and is scattered with wrecks that have evolved into a vibrant marine playground. Egypt’s sunny climate and desert landscapes have resulted in a marine paradise that makes the Red Sea an ideal liveboard vacation destination.

Water temperatures in the Red Sea range from around 74-84°F (23-28°C), with most divers comfortable in a 3mm wetsuit during the summer months and a 5mm wetsuit in the winter, keeping in mind you may be doing up to five dives each day. The Brothers itinerary does not include night diving but the Southern Route does when possible.

All of the dives on the Southern Route are from the 3 dive tenders. The Red Sea Aggressor III provides 12 liter aluminum tanks (both K-valves (American type) and DIN (International) valves), weight belts and weights, with a full line of Aqualung rental gear available.

Dive computers are mandatory and it’s recommended that guests bring safety items such as safety sausages and Nautilus Lifelines. Nitrox is available for a surcharge and there is plenty of storage space for diving equipment on board this Red Sea liveaboard.

Divers can opt to pick a buddy of their choice or dive with one of the crew members, keeping in mind that the Red Sea Aggressor does not offer direct supervision of divers. Every dive begins with a comprehensive briefing from one of the crew and all diving must be done within the limits of your certification and no planned decompression dives. Crew will be on deck to provide surface support for divers and to assist with critter spotting underwater.

A range of specialty courses are offered on board the Red Sea Aggressor, including Advanced Open Water, UW Photography and Nitrox, while the Photo Pro is available to capture your diving adventure. There’s a complete digital photo facility on board, including a PC for downloading photos, a charging station and large camera table, and photo equipment are available to rent separately or as a complete set up.
