Amenities:

While the lower deck comprises eight twin cabins, the main deck is home to the air-conditioned saloon, the dining area with its open kitchen, and a well-stocked bar. At the back of the Emperor Seven Seas is the large dive deck and platform.

Steps lead to the upper deck where you’ll find an outdoor lounge, bean bags, and a sunbathing area, plus a barbecue lounge. Four additional cabins are also located here. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available onboard during Red Sea liveaboard trips.

Diving:

Diving is conducted from the Emperor Seven Seas’s spacious dive deck and platform, with two zodiacs (complete with dive ladders) transporting guests to and from sites. The dive deck is equipped with rinse tanks and a camera table, plus there are charging stations onboard for underwater photographers.

In addition to two Bauer HP compressors, there’s a Mattei Nitrox membrane compressor. Up to 32% Nitrox is available for free (for Nitrox certified divers only). Technical and rebreather diving can be facilitated on request.

A full range of dive equipment rentals can be organised prior to departure while 12-liter aluminum tanks come as standard on all Emperor Seven Seas trips. For extra air, divers can request a 15-liter tank, although the supply is limited. All divers must use a dive computer and be equipped with a safety marker buoy. Torches are mandatory for night dives.

Up to 22 dives are offered on 8-day/7-night Red Sea liveaboard trips aboard the Emperor Seven Seas, which departs and arrives at Marsa Ghalib. Several PADI dive courses are also available onboard – check with the team at the time of booking.

Itineraries onboard the Emperor Seven Seas focus on both the northern and southern regions of the Red Sea, including visits to the Brothers, Daedalus, and Elphinstone Reefs. It also offers trips centered on the St Johns area, along with excursions to the Fury Shoal in the far south.

Diving in the Red Sea is conducted throughout the year, with the best times generally being from March to May and September to November. The water temperature usually ranges from 74°F in the winter months to 84°F (23°C to 29°C) in the summertime. During the warmer periods, a 3mm wetsuit is often sufficient for most divers, but as temperatures drop, you may prefer a thicker 5mm or even a 7mm wetsuit.
