Picture 7 nights onboard Humboldt Explorer with exhilarating diving. A dream for underwater photographers who love action and pelagics.

This trip has been on the books for a long time, but due to COVID, it was questionable whether or not it was able to proceed. Good news – this trip will go ahead!

As we have all learned this past year, we need to be flexible when it comes to travel plans.

What we know:  We will be boarding the liveaboard Humboldt Explorer on September 13th, and disembarking September 20th. We also know if you are fully vaccinated incl. the 2 week period afterwards, you can enter Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands without requiring any COVID testing.

We don’t know yet know 100%: Most likely we will be staying in Quito for 2 nights, September 11 – 13th, with one day of sightseeing on September 12th. Most likely we will also be staying one more night in Guayaquil on  September 20th.

What is included:

• Airfare from mainland Ecuador to San Cristobal
• 7 nights onboard Humboldt Explorer
• All meals onboard
• Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
• National Park Fee, tourist card, Chamber support fee
• Up to 4 dives daily
• Land excursions (Giant Tortoises, Charles Darwin Research station)
• Accommodation in Ecuador as required by flight schedule
• Fully escorted by The Dive Academy

What else you need to know:

Galapagos Diving is for advanced divers with 100+ dives experience. Water will be colder than a tropical dive vacation, and you may want a full 5mm or even 7mm wetsuit with hood.

Rates are per person, based on double occupancy.

Not including: Airline baggage charges, Nitrox ($150USD), gratuities, dive gear, optional travel insurance.
