Well – what can we say? These are unprecedented times, and the entire world, which we love to explore, is affected.
As you can imagine, COVID-19 is impacting our day to day operations greatly. Please be assured that we are monitoring your travel arrangements, and we are addressing each in order of the travel date. This is an ever-evolving situation with daily changes, and we are doing our best to stay up to date in all regions of the world where our clients are travelling.
By having booked your trip through us, you have an advocate with strong ties to our vendors around the world, with whom we are in regular contact. We cannot do miracles, but we are trying our best to assist each individual with your travel plans.
Your safety and well-being are of high importance to us. We care. We understand everyone has a different approach to this, and we respect each other.
And a personal word from me: I am extremely proud of our team here at Fly & Sea for tirelessly working extra hours to help re-accommodate clients whose flights needed to be re-routed, insurance claims processed, tours and hotels re-booked or cancelled, and many questions being answered. Thank you from the bottom of my heart – I don’t take that for granted.
In times like this, it is important to look to things that give us hope, and there should be plenty of reasons for it. Make your own list.
Our prayers are especially with the health care workers on the front lines. I’m sure their strength and patience is being tested. And of course our prayers and thoughts are with those affected, directly or indirectly, by this disease that’s so rapidly changing our lives.
There is a lot of disappointment out there for travel plans that have been kyboshed, and we feel for you. But we will get through this!
Please don’t let this affect your travel plans for later in the year, or 2021 and onward. The locations our trips operate in, the vendors and locals, depend on tourism. None are big corporations with deep pockets.
For those of you who are waiting for quotes for future travel plans, we appreciate your patience. We will get to you, but it may take a little while longer, while we assist those with immediate needs.
If your trip is 4+ weeks away, please note that we will contact you, but this is an almost day-by-day situation, and adapt from week to week. Thank you too for your patience and understanding.
