Dumaguete City, on the southern tip of the island of Negros is right in the heart of the Visayas. It is 500km South of Manila and 110 km from Cebu City (the second largest city in the Philippines) and is easily accessible from either. Daily flights are available from Manila via Cebu Pacific or Air Philippines Express (flight time approximately one hour).  Alternatively, from Cebu you can take a van and boat  (via Liloan) or a fast ferry. Atlantis is in Dauin, only a mere half hour drive away from the airport so you’ll be quickly relaxing poolside with a fresh fruit cocktail complete with drink umbrella.

Surrounded by lush tropical greenery, and protected Marine Sanctuaries, Atlantis is set along a lengthy, peaceful stretch of beach. Deluxe room Many have 1 double bed or can be converted to 2 twin beds, private bath and shower, safe, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV with cable, minibar and refrigerator. Some deluxe rooms have an adjoining room with 2 twin beds and the same amenities. These adjoining rooms are typically used by families.

Seaview Suite Has 1 queen size bed, private bath and shower, safe, air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV with cable, minibar, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker and DVD player. Additionally this suite has a sea view, small office with desk and large balcony.

Ocean Front Room Has 1 double bed or can be converted to 2 twin beds. These rooms have a direct ocean view. Additionally they have private bath and shower, safe, air conditioning, ceiling fan (except Rooms 1 and 3), TV with cable, minibar, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker and DVD player.

Garden Suite Has 1 double bed, private bath and shower, safe, air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV with cable, minibar, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker and DVD player. These suites also have a large balcony.

Deluxe Garden Suite Has a king size bed, private bath and shower, safe, air conditioning, ceiling fans, 2 flat screen TVs with cable and DVD, minibar, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, separate living room and private garden.

Pool

The resort’s pool is large and private. Elegantly set amongst tropical palms with a waterfall feature, this pool is more than 100+ square meters in size, with both shallow & deep that is filtered with non-chlorinated water and sheltered by the shade of the trees

Food

Toko’s bar and restaurant offers a full a la carte or buffet breakfast selection. Lunch and dinner are ever changing. Their fresh seafood dishes are always popular and there are vegetarian alternatives as well as lighter and healthier meals. Their all day a la carte menu includes a wide range of pasta, pizza, sandwiches and salads as well as signature main courses. If you’ll be celebrating a special occasion, be sure to let the staff know, and they will be pleased to set up a special menu for you.

Diving

At Atlantis’ Five Star PADI Career Development Center, you will find the highest standard of dive education, first class facilities and world class dive guides. Whether used as your base from which to explore thirty or more close dive sites; the place to start your adventures and become certified; your door to Nitrox, technical diving or rebreather adventures, they have it all. The archipelago is home to more than 3000 species of fish and 448 species of coral. Combine unbelievable muck-diving with pristine coral reefs and shoals of schooling fish.

Extremely photography friendly, Atlantis has a spacious dedicated camera room with long work surfaces complete with cubby holes to store equipment. Paper towels for cleaning O-rings, air guns to dry and clean your equipment, individual outlets, a battery charging station, and an LCD HD TV with both HDMI and USB connections – all your needs are covered as a photographer.

Friendly, accommodating dive staff take small groups (no more than 6 people at a time) out to over 40 different dives sites, all close by (most within a 10 minute boat ride) and appropriate for varying levels of certification. Local dives are offered at 9, 11, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm (night dives are available every night). Guides are happy to take you to whichever dive site you like, depending on what you want to see.

Enjoy day trips out to Apo Island or Hot Springs with a fantastic BBQ lunch on the beach. Small groups (up to 6 people) are the norm, and private dives are available upon request.
