Diving One of the Worlds Top Diving Locations

Scuba St Lucia is Anse Chastanet’s on site PADI 5 star center. It’s located on the beach and perfectly positioned to take advantage of St Lucia’s colorful and abundant diving. The region became a protected marine reserve in 1995, and the preservation of St Lucia’s reefs is tantamount to maintaining its position as one of the world’s top diving locations. Scuba St Lucia takes this challenge seriously and are proudly PADI Green Star Award holders.

The center is well appointed, crewed with an experienced and careful team and offers shore and boat dives as well as a full range of PADI courses. The house reef starts just steps from the water’s edge and slopes dramatically to 140ft depth; it’s a photographers dream and home to 150 species of fish. As such, it’s been voted one of the top five shore dives in the Caribbean by Rodale’s.

For sites further afield, the center has three boats which are quiet, ecologically sound and fitted for safety. Boat dives include walls, drifts, and wrecks; sites are dotted beneath the dramatic scenery of the Pitons. Boat dives are available in the morning and afternoon and night dives are available twice a week.

There’s guest storage and good quality rental gear is available for hire should you not wish to drag your gear along. Photographers and videographers will enjoy dedicated facilities; there are cameras for rent, and you can even request a photographer to record your diving for you.
