Based out of the Waiwo Dive Resort, Dive Into Raja Ampat is located on Waigeo Island, the largest island in Raja Ampat. It’s positioned on a remote stretch of beach surrounded by lush jungle and has been designed with minimal impact on the surrounding environment. Spectacular birds of paradise and Indonesian cuscus bears call the island “home” while an incredible diversity of marine life inhabits the local reefs.
This Raja Ampat dive resort was created following the success of Dive into Lembeh, with the aim of offering the same high level of service and safety that had become a hallmark of the existing operation. Dive Into Raja Ampat offers three different room categories, ensuring there are options for all budgets, with all featuring 24-hour electricity, air conditioning, and Western-style bathrooms.
Rooms
Dive Into Raja Ampat offers three room categories for guests to choose from. Each is decorated with dark wood furnishings and some boast floor-to-ceiling windows for soaking up the views.
Waterfront Villas: Offering unspoiled sea views, each of the five Waterfront Villas features western-style bathrooms, balconies, and air conditioning. They are considered the “jewel” of the resort, with the water just steps away.
Seaview Rooms: There are eight Seaview Rooms available in three styles, all of which come with air conditioning, walk-in bathrooms, and double beds. Some come with side balconies, in addition to sea-facing balconies. One of the Seaview Rooms is a duplex with a twin and double room and a bathroom that is slightly smaller than the other Seaview Rooms.
Garden Terraces: Each of the Garden Terraces are duplexes constructed from concrete and come equipped with air conditioning, Western-style ensuite bathrooms, and private balconies. The Nudi Garden Terraces are closest to the restaurant, with one being a twin room and the other a double. The Pygmi Nudi Garden Terraces come with a twin bed arrangement.

Diving
A vacation at Dive Into Raja Ampat will see you exploring one of the world’s most biodiverse marine regions, with more fish, coral, and mollusk species recorded here than anywhere else on Earth. There are dive sites to suit all experience levels, from drift dives along steep-sided walls to shallow bays and coral reefs.
Dive Into Raja Ampat has recently finished rebuilding and upgrading its dive center, including the creation of a new camera room with individual workstations and dedicated camera rinse tanks. There are also secure locker rooms where you can store your dive gear at the end of the day.
Three-tank dives are offered each day, with a two-tank dive in the morning and a one-tank dive in the afternoon. All of Dive Into Raja Ampat’s speedboats have had a complete engine and layout overhaul, with a front canopy added to provide better protection for guests while onboard. All of the boats carry oxygen and first aid supplies for your peace of mind.
In addition to the staggering number of dive sites that are accessible by boat, Dive Into Raja Ampat also has a house reef that you can access between 8 am and 6 pm each day. Water temperatures hover around 82°F (28°C) throughout the year, with most guests comfortable in a 3mm full suit. Visibility ranges from around 15 to 30 meters and is significantly influenced by plankton concentrations.
Other Activities
Non-diving family members can enjoy snorkeling on the house reef to spot a variety of fish, stingrays, and even turtles. As you explore the resort, you may be lucky enough to spot some of Waigeo Island’s native wildlife that includes cuscuses, monitor lizards, and a variety of colorful parrots and lorikeets.
