Food

The Sunscape Sabor Cozumel has four a la carte restaurants and a buffet available for guests, with a range of cuisines on offer and a casual atmosphere. Enjoy the beachfront ambiance and grilled specialties of their Seaside Grill or feast on traditional Mexican favorites at El Patio. Da Mario is a classic Italian-style trattoria offering pizza and pasta dishes, while Portofino features both local and international dishes on its grand buffet.

Private dining is also available at Cava which boasts the only fine wine cellar in Cozumel and features premium wines and spirits from more than 60 countries around the globe.

There are also a number of bars and lounges throughout this Cozumel diving resort where you can refresh with a beachside cocktail or a lazy sundowner, then party well into the night. Dive House – A Premier Cozumel Dive Operation

Sunscape Sabor Cozumel is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort and their on-site dive operator, Dive House, operates as both a TDI Training Facility and a Universal Referral Center. They offer Cozumel fun diving for all experience levels, as well as courses ranging from Open Water to Divemaster certifications, with a dedicated scuba training pool.

Their dive instructors and divemasters are highly experienced in Cozumel’s waters and strive to help guests discover some of the 250 fish species which inhabit the surrounding reefs. There are also around 100 subspecies of coral found here, along with eagle rays, octopus, loggerhead, hawksbill and green turtles.

The resort’s proximity to the Mesoamerican Reef means that there is a huge choice of Cozumel diving sites within a short boat ride, from sheltered shore dives to current-swept drift dives. Visibility is generally good at between 80-100 feet (24-30 meters), with the water temperature around 77°F (25°C) in the winter and 85°F (29°C) in summer.
